Frequently asked questions
Is the 3D garden designer really free?▼
Yes — design as much as you like without an account. Creating a free account only becomes necessary if you want to save your design and revisit it later. There's no payment required for designing or saving.
Do I need to download anything?▼
No download. The garden designer runs entirely in your browser using WebGL. Works in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop.
Will my design be lost if I close the tab?▼
No — your draft is saved continuously to your browser's local storage. As long as you come back to the same browser, you'll see what you left. To carry it across devices, sign up to save it to your account.
Can I use it on my phone or tablet?▼
Currently desktop only — the editor needs hover, drag, and keyboard shortcuts. We're working on a touch-optimised version.
What happens when I click Save?▼
You'll be asked to create a free account (email + password, or one-click Google sign-in). Your in-progress design is preserved during sign-up — nothing is lost.
Is my design data private?▼
Yes. Until you sign up, the design lives only in your browser. Once you create an account, designs are stored in your private workspace.
Can I export my design?▼
Yes — there's a built-in PNG screenshot button. Once you have an account, you can also generate a photorealistic AI render of your design.
